Love's Labor Birth Services

My name is Amanda Macdonald. I offer labor support to women/families in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is my wish that all women have knowledgable and compassionate support before, during and after the arrival of their new baby- a partner, a mother, a sister, a friend or a doula.

My role as a doula is to help you be as informed, supported, comfortable and empowered as possible during your pregnancy, labor and postpartum period. I recognize that the ideal birth experience is unique for everyone. No matter what your ideal birth involves, I would love to discuss it with you, so you can make truly informed decisions about your birth preferences.

I prefer to work at homes and hospitals in the East Bay area. I live in Oakland, so most of the East Bay is within a one hour's drive.
